Abstract :
Nano-sized LaxBi(2–x)Te3 (x=0.1–0.5) powders have been synthesized in ethanol solutions at 120–180 °C for 12–48 h. It is found that the LaxBi(2–x)Te3 compounds have the same crystal structure and similar lattice constants as the binary Bi2Te3 compound.
