Abstract :
One 3D noninterpenetrating metallic-organic framework (MOF), namely M1.5(TMA)(4,4′-bpy)0.5(μ-OH2) 1 (M = Zn1.35Co0.15, H3TMA = benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylic acid, 4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-dipyridyl), showing unprecedented (3,4)-connected (8.102)2(4.84.10)2(42.82.102) topology, has been synthesized hydrothermally via the self-assemble of hybrid metal ions with polydentate O-donor H3TMA ligand and coligand of rigid bidentate N-donor 4,4′-bpy.
