A novel Borromean (6, 3) net assembled by nest-shaped clusters image as knots

The solvothermal reaction of image, CuI, 4,4′-bipy and 4-nitoraniline with a molar ratio of 1:4:2:2 resulted in the formation of a novel 2D cluster-containing compound image, which exhibits Borromean links with image cluster units as connecting knots and 4,4′-bipy ligands as spacers.
