Abstract :
A new complex Nd2(hfac)6(CH3COO)2 {12[ane]HN4(CH2Ctriple bond; length of mdashCH)4}2 (hexafluoroacetylacetonate, hfac) was synthesized and characterized. Upon excitation of the organic cation {12[ane]N4H(CH2Ctriple bond; length of mdashCH)4}+ (protonation on one of the nitrogen atoms of N,N′,N′,N‴-tetra-(3-prop-1-yne)-1,4,7,10-tetrazacyclododecane), the neodymium NIR luminescence is sensitized through Förster energy transfer mechanism.
