Abstract
Novel heteropolymolybdates containing methylphosphate or ethylphosphate as hetero ions were prepared and isolated as tetra-alkylammonium salts from aqueous-CH3CN solution. They were characterized by elemental analysis, X-ray analysis, FT-IR, Raman, UV–vis and cyclic voltammetry. They were elucidated to have so-called inverted-Keggin structure. The phosphorus-containing polyoxometalates with inverted-Keggin structure have been found for the first time.
