Abstract :
Two 3d−4f heterometallic coordination polymers [EuCo(pydc)3(H2O)3]n · 2nH2O (1) [YbCo(pydc)3(H2O)3]n · nH2O (2) have been hydrothermally synthesized from pyridine-2,4-dicarboxylic acid (H2pydc). Compounds 1 and 2 possess isostructural twofold interpenetration corrugated brick wall layer structures with (6,3) topology.
