Abstract :
Multiferrocenyl derivatives FcC(CH3)2Fc′–Ctriple bond; length of mdashC–Fc(A) (Fc = C5H5FeC5H4, Fc′ = C5H5FeC5H3) and FcC(CH3)2Fc′–Ctriple bond; length of mdashC–Ctriple bond; length of mdashC–Fc′C(CH3)2Fc (B) have been synthesized and characterized by MS, NMR, FT-IR and elemental analysis. The molecular structure of compound A was given by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The electron transfer numbers of two compounds were determined by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperomeric technique.
