Abstract
The complex fac-[Re(H2O)(CO)3L]BArF (L = Ph2PO(CH2)3OPPh2; BArF = [B{3,5-(CF3)2C6H3}4]) is prepared from the reaction of fac-[Re(O3SCF3)(CO)3L] with NaBArF in dichloromethane solution. The complex is characterized spectroscopically and its crystal structure is studied by X-ray diffractometry. The spectroscopic features are consequent with the fac configuration shown by the X-ray crystallographic analysis of the solid complex.
