Abstract :
Circular and rhombic tubular building blocks interweave mutually into a novel 2-fold interpenetrated 3D PtS framework [Zn(ADB)(H2O)]n (1) (H2ADB = azobenzen-4,4′-dicarboxylic acid), with hydrogen-bonded–O–metal–O–chain. In additional, solid-state properties such as photoluminescence and thermal stability of the complex 1 have also been studied.
