Abstract :
A novel polyoxometalate [PW11O39Ni(4,4′-Hbpy)]·(4,4′-H2bpy)2·3H2O (1) has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by IR, XPS, TG, elemental analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Crystal structure analysis reveals that 1 is a novel metal coordination fragment derivative of the classic Keggin polyanion.
