Abstract :
A novel three-dimensional supramolecular framework with formulas, [Cu(H2btc)2(bpy)]n (1) was obtained by Cu(NO3)2, 4,4′-bipyridine (4,4′-bpy) and 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (H3btc) under hydrothermal condition. Through hydrogen bonds 1 affords an unprecedented topology architecture, viz. supramolecular (4, 4)-connected net with (6.74.10)(64.7.8) tcj-4,4-Cccm topology and three-fold interpenetration.
