Abstract :
A new zinc coordination polymer [Zn(L)2]n (1) (HL = 4′-(4-carboxy-methoxyphenyl)-4,2′:6′,4″-terpyridine) was constructed under hydrothermal condition. X-ray single diffraction studies reveal that 1 shows a three-fold interpenetrating 3D framework with a 4-connected dia topological net, which contains the same number of left- and right-handed 21 helical chains. Additionally, photoluminescence property of 1 has been investigated.
