Behaviour of two-dimensional arrays of gold nanoparticles under H2S: agglomeration and regeneration

The use of an inorganic link, H2S, leads to two-dimensional assemblies of the Au quantum dots via a gas phase procedure. The morphology of the networks created in this way and the behaviour of the Au nanoparticles under H2S have been studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the absorption spectroscopy in the visible region.
