The biological chemistry of the brain and its possible evolution Review Article

In our books Fraústo da Silva and I have looked at living systems from a chemical element analysis point of view and in recent papers we have looked at evolution in the same way. In this paper I wish to continue this approach looking at the brain and describing its compartmentalised zones from knowledge of chemistry, especially that of particular elements. We have already given some indication of the way this might be done in our third book.
