Abstract :
A new vanadyl oxalatophosphate compound, (C10H10N2)[(VO)(HPO4)]2(C2O4), was synthesized via the hydrothermal approach and characterised structurally using single-crystal X-ray diffraction, FT-IR and thermogravimetric analysis. The compound has two-dimensional View the MathML source{[(VO)(HPO4)]2(C2O4)}n2n- anionic layers with View the MathML sourceC10H10N22+ occupying the interlayer spaces.
