An electrophilic reaction on tris(2,4-pentanedionato)cobalt in Lewis acidic conditions

A nucleophilic reaction of tris(2,4-pentanedionato)cobalt with p-nitrobenzaldehyde under Lewis acidic conditions gave an alcohol which was identified by usual spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The crystal structure of the alcohol was determined by X-ray diffraction method.
