Abstract
The crystal structure of the morpholine–dithiocarbamate complex [Cu(S2CNC4H8O)2] has been carried out and reveals an aggregation pattern in which molecular sub-units are linked by C–H⋯Cu and S⋯S interactions. The isomorphous piperidine–dithiocarbamate complexes [M(S2CNC5H10)2] (M = Cu, Ni) also show this structural motif suggesting that it may be common in square-planar bis(dithiocarbamate) complexes with six-membered backbones.
