Abstract :
In this study, the relationship between self-control and conflict management styles has been regarded in Ahwaz government offices. Statistical sample in this study is all managers and deputies of Ahwaz that is (N=260) and sample size was determined (n=152) using Kerjesi and Morgan sampling table. Also questionnaire was used for Eshnaider self-control questionnaire and Questionnaire on basis of pattern of Afzal Rahim consist of 15 questions was used for variable of solve conflict styles gathering data that validity of conflict management styles’ questionnaire is ?=0.82 and self-control questionnaire is ?=0.84 on the basis of Cronbach Alpha. Obtained data were analyzed using SPSS15 software and frequency distribution tables and descriptive statistic tables were used and mean was considered measure of central tendency. Based on results, it is concluded that self-control has significant relationship with solving conflicts styles and self-control has direct relationship with cooperation and compromise styles and it has inverse relationship with forgiveness, obligate and avoidance style.
