“Analysis of stress concentration during tension of round pultruded composite rods (Composite Structures 2008;83:100–109)” had several errors without negative impact on the main results except for one. A sign error in Eq. (11) results in a tensile radial stress rather than compression in Fig. 6 according to the parameters provided in the article.
