Abstract :
A solution of IrCl(CO)(PPh3)2 in m-xylene was immobilized in an alumina–zeolite MFI composite tubular membrane. The zeolite layer prevented the loss of solvent that could not permeate through its micropores, improving the stability of the resulting liquid membranes. O2/CH4 and O2/N2 separation selectivities of 2.44 and 2.75, respectively, were achieved.
