Abstract :
Today, access to various audiovisual programs such as cartoons has become very easy through the development of audiovisual technologies such as CD and DVD players. In the same line, many studies have emphasized the psychological values of utilizing cartoons in language learning. Accordingly, the present study aims at revieweing some of the studies to consider the effectiveness of exposure to cartoons as a source of authentic language input on language proficiency development.
