Abstract :
The aim of this study was to examine whether psychological parameters of creativity and motivation play any
significant role in Iranian EFL learners achievement scores. To this end, under graduate participants (N=91) were
asked to complete creativity (Torrance, 1990) and motivation (Attitude Motivation Test Battery) tests which were
compared with their language achievement tests scores. The results showed that the creativity has a close
relationship with the learnersʹ performance, while there was no significant relationship between motivation and
studentʹs performance. Also, there was an attempt to find out if there is any relationship between the independent
variables, (creativity and motivation). The results rejected the relationship between these two variables.
