Abstract
Correlations between the critical section thickness and the glass-forming ability (GFA) parameters, including the temperature interval of the supercooled liquid region ΔTxg, the reduced glass transition temperature Trg, the stability parameter S and parameters Kgl and γ, have been summarized for several Ti-based bulk amorphous alloys. The results show that the indicators Trg and γ are preferred to be the criteria of GFA for Ti-based bulk amorphous alloys.
