Abstract
In literature, NMR chemical shifts of protons and silicon atoms in silanols have always been discussed with respect to the polarity of the solvents used. In this paper, chemical shift values of tetramethyldisiloxanediol M2OH are presented with regard to their change in dependence on concentration in deuterated chloroform and on temperature. These values are compared to values found in solid state NMR spectroscopy.
