Bond dissociation enthalpies of U(IV) complexes. An integrated view

A brief overview of the bond dissociation enthalpies in U(IV) organometallic compounds published earlier is made. Some new results of the bond dissociation enthalpies on U(IV) compounds (kJ mol−1), D(UI)=260±11, D(UO)=307±13, D(UCl)=369±14 and D(UCl)=341±19, are presented and used to discuss the literature data critically.
