Abstract :
Treatment of Me2SiBrCBr(SiMe3)2 with n-BuLi in the presence of tBu2MeSiN3 (Et2O at −110 °C) leads to the Silanimine Me2SiN(SiMetBu2), which reacts at −40 °C with tBuMe2SiN3 or tBu2MeSiN3 to the silatetrazolines Me2SiN(SiMetBu2)·(Me3−ntBun)SiN3 (n=1, 1c or n=2, 1d). According to X-ray structure analyses, 1c and 1d contain a planar SiN4-ring with two methyl groups being coordinated to silicon and two silyl subsituents to the saturated N-atoms.
