Abstract :
Two families of catalysts containing trispyrazolylborate (Tpx) or N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHC) with the group 11 metals have proven useful for several reactions involving the transfer of the :CHCO2Et group from ethyl diazoacetate to saturated and unsaturated substrates.
