Density studies of liquid alloys SnAg and SnZn with near eutectic compositions

The density values for SnAg and SnZn alloys with near eutectic compositions were determined by the gamma-absorption method both in the liquid and solid states. Sn-rich melts of the AgSn system were found to be microheterogeneous, whereas SnZn melts demonstrate the behavior typical for true solutions.
