RETRACTED: Quantitative elucidation of the molecular mechanisms of hydroxyl radical quenching reactivity of phenolic compounds

This article has been retracted at the request of the editor. : There are significant similarities between this paper and a previously published paper in Bioorg Med Chem (Bioorg Med Chem, 10, 2002, 4067–4073). Specifically, there are similarities in the Abstract, Introduction, and Results and Discussion. The data in Table 2 and Figure 4a in this paper are nearly identical to that found in Table 1 and Figure 2, respectively, in Bioorg Med Chem. The same compounds are studied, the results of the same TBARS assay are reported, and the same QSAR model is established.
