Modelling junctions of thin plates

The paper deals with the modelling of junctions between plates. The junction is modelled as a structure in itself (a joint); it is required that both the displacement and the traction fields be continuous at the common boundaries between the joint and the plates. This modelling accounts for different plate models so as for deformable and rigid joints.
