Abstract :
The New Zealand interviews were conducted with seven high profile educational policymakers and the following themes emerged from a thematic analysis of the transcripts: the need to understand the nature of educational policy change and the role of all parties within it; the importance of training educational leaders for the future; and the need for all educational stakeholders to become involved in forward thinking dialogue regarding the future of education.
