Abstract :
Ceramic multilayer capacitors (MLCC) with Ni base metal electrodes (BME) have nowadays achieved the standard of MLCCs with noble metal (Pd/Ag) electrodes. One of the greatest problems to be solved at the industrialization of BME capacitors was the suppression of the electrical degradation, caused by the mobility of charged oxygen vacancies. This paper gives a review of the research and development of BME materials
