Abstract :
To obtain precursors of a solid state reaction as reactive as possible, factors from the viewpoint of machine construction are examined. An example is given for successful synthesis of Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O2 by using a multi-ring-type mechanical activator. With a renovation of the activator, the homogeneity and recovery of the products are increased. In order to delineate effects of renovation, samples and data from the area outside of electroceramics are also involved.
