Abstract :
An Ag/AgCl solid electrode was prepared by using urea–formaldehyde resin, KCl powder and an Ag/AgCl wire as materials. Then using this solid electrode as internal reference electrode and using a PVC membrane containing ranitidine tetraphenylborate ion-pair complex as sensitive element, an all-solid-state ranitidine sensor was fabricated. The properties of this sensor were studied in detail. The results indicated that the sensor showed a good stability, and exhibited a Nernstian response in the range from 5×10−4 to 1×10−1 M of ranitidine with a slope of 59.7 mV per decade. Its detection limit was 2.8×10−4 M. Its life-span lasted at least 6 months.
