Elastoplastic compaction of metallic powders

In this paper the stress and deformation states of compacted metallic powders in the elastoplastic state is investigated. Thereby two kinds of problems are considered, namely compacted powders with empty as well as with fluid-saturated pores. The goal of this treatise is to develop a numerical solution concept to describe elastoplastic deformations on the basis of the porous media theory for the aforementioned problems.
