Closure to “A new efficient simulation method to approximate the probability of failure and most probable point” (Struct. Safety 2012:39:22–9)

A new simulation method presented by authors to approximate the failure probability and most probable point. In a discussion, it is claimed that the presented failure probability approximation method is exactly the classical Monte Carlo integration (MC). Here we prove that the discussion is just a proof of trustworthy of main formula of subject paper by using the classical MC integration. For clarification, an example is also presented.
