Autosomal dominant psychiatric disorders and mitochondrial DNA multiple deletions: Report of a family

Background atric problems, including bipolar affective disorder (BD) and schizophrenia, are common in mitochondrial diseases (MD) and frequently precede the diagnosis of mitochondrial dysfunction.
