Abstract :
A facile ethanolamine(EA)/glucose mixed solution route was developed for the controllable synthesis of CdSe nanostructures with different morphologies. By controlling the concentration of EA, CdSe hollow microspheres with diameter about 800 nm and urchin-like microcrystals with diameter about 1.5 μm could be selectively prepared. The experimental results indicate that the different reducing ability of EA and glucose plays a crucial role in the formation of the products. The application of as-prepared CdSe nanostructures in DNA biosensor was also investigated. Based on these CdSe nanostructures, an ssDNA/CdSe/GCE electrochemical DNA sensor was constructed. A novel method for detection the DNA sequences of Avian Influenza Virus was presented based on the change of electrochemical signal with the different combining ability of ssDNA and dsDNA with CdSe nanostructures. Results indicated that the electrode modified with CdSe nanostructures gives a good selectivity for detecting the AIV DNA sequences.
