Abstract :
The conducting polymer was known to have their low process ability and poor mechanical and chemical stability under high humidity condition. Therefore coated-polyaniline (co-PANi) sensor was fabricated by screening method using a 15% solution of poly(vinylidenefluoride) (PVF2) in N-methylpyrolidone (NMP). The sensitivities of co-PANi and PANi sensors were shown negative values. The lower sensitivity was observed in co-PANi sensor than in PANi one at 1000 ppm methanol vapors under N2. Compared co-PANi sensor with PANi one during 100 days, the co-PANi sensor did not showed any drift initial resistance and sensitivity to vapors. Therefore, the co-PANi sensor was showed more stable than PANi one.
