Abstract :
The purpose of this study was, investigation the multiple intelligence areas of sport management students who selected by physically performance test (class 3) and by the written test (class 1). Totally 57 student who study in Sport Management Department in Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, were participated into the study voluntary. Multiple intelligent areas survey which was developed by Saban (2001) used to collect data. T-test in SPSS 11,5 statistical program used to analyze datas. Analyse showed that; class 1 and class 3 students’ multiple intelligence areas points were; verbal intelligence: 27,3 ± 5,2 and 28,1 ± 4,9, mathematical intelligence: 27,3 ± 8,3 and 24,6 ± 7,7, visual intelligence: 25,9 ± 7,1 and 28,5 ± 7,6, musical intelligence: 25,9 ± 7,1 and 27,7 ± 8,6, natural intelligence: 26,1 ± 7,7 and 30,1 ± 6,7, social intelligence: 32,3 ± 5,0 and 32,4 ± 3,7, bodily intelligence: 30,9 ± 5,1 and 33,8 ± 3,8, intrinsic intelligence: 28,9 ± 4,1 and 29,6 ± 4,2 were respectively. T-test proved that natural intelligence point of class 3 students’ was statistically different from class 1 students’ (t:-2,515 p: 0,01). As a result; except natural intelligence, both groups have similar multiple intelligence area. It is possible to say that both of the selection types elect similar types students who have similar multiple intelligence areas.
