Abstract :
For linear sweep anodic stripping voltammetry in the resolution of overlapped peaks by a curve fitting method, an algorithm is suggested. The anodic stripping voltammetry peaks to be varied to a considerable degree have been mathematically described by a six-parametrical model, which has previously been referred to. Application of this model provides stable and fast convergence of the optimization algorithm that is being used; therefore, model parameters (such as height, width at half-peak, position of a peak maximum, asymmetry, etc.) affect various geometrical properties of peak independently. A priori information about partial peaks is produced by single addition of one of the mixtureʹs components. A residual current is modeled by spline with factor power. The effectiveness of the suggested approach is shown on modeling mixtures in case of linear overlapped anodic stripping voltammetry peaks of elements Cd(II) and Tl(I); Tl(I) and Pb(II) at various proportions of elements in a mixture. Correctness of resolution of overlapped peaks elements is confirmed by means of a known concentration of elements.
