Abstract
A technology of silicon production by recycling the wastes of phosphorous industry is suggested. The process of alumothermic reduction of silica from the waste was thermodynamically modeled and tested experimentally. The process is energy saving because of the exothermic nature of the reaction. The technology opens the way to phosphorous industry wastes utilization.
