Sunshine environment and spectrum analysis for concentrator PV systems in Japan

Normal direct irradiance levels for concentrator photovoltaic were investigated and anticipated in 26 sunshine regions in Japan. The spectrum and photon numbers were also examined. Normal direct photon number was assumed to be 92–60% of global the sunshine on sloped surfaces in all the districts in Japan.
