Abstract :
Phase composition, structure and mechanical properties of as-cast and annealed Ti–Dy–Si–Sn alloys were studied. Extremum values of high-temperature strength (511–529 MPa at 800 °C) and room-temperature plasticity (∼13% for compression) were found for annealed alloys (80–75)Ti–5Dy–5Si–(10–15)Sn. These were explained on the basis of phase composition and dispersity of the structure.
