Tight Packings of Hamming Spheres

It is proved that for noncan the Hamming space {0, 1}nbe partitioned into three Hamming spheres of any, not necessarily equal radii. This fact is remarkable, since for everyk≠3 there exist values ofnfor which then-dimensional Hamming space can be partitioned intokspheres.
