An Upper Bound Theorem for Rational Polytopes

The upper bound inequality[formula](0⩽i⩽d/2) is proved for the torich-vector of a rational convexd-dimensional polytope withnvertices. This gives nonlinear inequalities on flag vectors of rational polytopes.
