Comments to: “Homotopy analysis method for solving the MHD flow over a non-linear stretching sheet (Commun. Nonlinear Sci. Numer. Simul. 14 (2009) 2653–2663)”

This communication aims to report the corrections to HAM results presented in a paper by Ghotbi [1]. The graphical results presented by Ghotbi are observed to be divergent as a consequence of the bad selection of the values of auxiliary parameter ℏ . Further, the results presented by Ghotbi do not agree with the exact solution for η ⩾ 2.5 . We present highly accurate and convergent HAM solutions which is in good agreement with the exact solution for the entire spatial domain 0 ⩽ η < ∞ . A comparison between the present HAM solution and the exact solution has been reported and both the solutions are found to be in good agreement.
