Flexible sampling of a state-delay system

The state-delay is always existent in the practical system. Analysis of the delay phenomenon in a continuous-time domain is sophisticated. It is appropriate to obtain its corresponding discrete-time model for implementation via digital computer. The main purpose of this paper is to derive discrete-time state-space models for a system with commensurate state-delay. For this method it is convenient to sample a state-delay system by a larger (or a smaller) sampling period. Its application on the experimental facility of a wind tunnel system is illustrated.
