Optimal digital redesign of continuous-time systems with input time delay and/or asynchronous sampling

This paper proposes a new state-matching digital redesign method for optimal digital control of a continuous-time system with an input time delay and/or asynchronous sampling. This controller can be indirectly obtained using the optimal digital controller developed for the system without an input time delay and with synchronous sampling.
