Quantitative justification of simplifications in some heat conduction problems

In this paper, we give quantitative justification of some simplifications in steady-state linear heat conduction problems. A posteriori error estimates are provided for effects on the solutions for idealization of thermal conductivity and boundary conditions, linearization of nonlinear problems.
